Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales
Location: Chennai
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive organic growth for LTV products by establishing relationships with key project specific (International End users /EPC Projects) personnel & Distribution channels to ensure fair market positioning of products.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Track bookings and sales by product line for target accounts. Analyze statistics and pricing to formulate effective strategies
- Gain technical and commercial understanding of the product portfolio. Understand Key Accounts organizational relationship and communicate back through the business
- Identify and track major projects at a defined Key Accounts and in conjunction, maintain a project list, as defined by the business and provide regular updates to the business
- Obtain inquiries for products and serve as a liaison with the Company resource assigned responsible for review and preparation of resulting quotations
- Actively participate in negotiations around technical and commercial terms proposed by the Company in response to an inquiry from a defined Key Accounts
- Interact with Product Sales Managers in support of Company defined go-to-market strategies for a particular geographic region
- Ensure efficient management of Working Capital, collect receivables from customers on-time and meet collection targets
Desired Profile:
- The candidate should be an Engineering graduate (Mechanical /Instrumentation) with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Should have experience in Valve Industry or other allied industries
- Should have exposure in handling International customers
- Should possess excellent communication skills
