This Privacy Notice outlines L&T Valves’ approach to Privacy to fulfil its obligations under applicable Privacy laws.

This Privacy Notice is published in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), 2018

This Privacy Notice applies to all your Personal Data collected and processed by us, whether in physical or electronic mode.

Please note that this Privacy Notice is applicable to all instances where we play the role of a Data Controller of your Personal Data, when we collect and process Personal Data about you for offering our products or services.

L&T Valves is committed to keeping your Personal Data private. We process any Personal Data we collect from you in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations mentioned and the provisions of this Privacy Notice. Throughout this document, the terms “we”, “us”, “our” & “ours” refer to L&T Valves. And the terms “you”, “your” & “yours” refer to YOU (as the Data Subject).

What Personal Data do we Collect & Process?

    • Designation
    • Phone Number
    • Company Name

Where do we obtain your Personal Data from?

The Marketing Department collects your personal data via the following channels:

  • Your business cards provided to us during exhibitions/ conferences/ meetings.
  • Contact details shared with us as a part of our proposal / sales process.
  • Information you share with us prior to downloading information from our various social media handles and our website.
  • The Personal Data collected automatically and in the background by us when you use our website and application(s).
  • We may also receive Personal Data about you from third parties and publicly available sources of information.

How do we use your Personal Data?

The Marketing Department uses your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To communicate L&T Valves' services and promotions
  • To conduct Marketing campaigns
  • For Internal MIS purposes
  • To conduct any product surveys so as to improve and enhance our products

We process your Personal Data by relying on one or more of the following lawful basis:

  • You have explicitly agreed to/consented to us processing your Personal Data for sending you our sales/marketing collateral and information
  • Contacting you for making a sale
  • Sending you some form of appreciation for being our Customer

Where our processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent by contacting us with a written request. Our contact details are specified below in the ‘Contact Us’ section. Upon receipt of your request to withdraw your consent, the consequences of withdrawal will be communicated to you. Upon your agreement to the same, your request for withdrawal will be processed.

When do we share your Personal Data with third parties?

The Marketing Department does not share your Personal Data with any external parties except when required to do so by Law.

We may also disclose your Personal Data to appropriate authorities if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process; protect the safety of any person; address fraud, security, or technical issues; or protect our rights or the rights of those who use our products & services.

  • Internal departments who need to use the data for fulfilling other requirements like delivery of product, post-sale activities, Voice of Customer activities.
